You should see the moon - it is large and very bright... it might bethe same moon I used to see in the Western world but for some reason it assumes a certain "specialness".

Maybe it's the guitar of another volunteer playing in the distance, or the sound of Mauritanians socializing in the courtyard in frnt of a tiny TV set showing the Semi-final of the European Cup, maybe it's the absence of urban light sources and me being in this exotic mosquito net tent wearing a headlamp in... A F R I C A!!!
